What is Aeroponics?

Aeroponics, the misting of plant roots in air, was developed in the last century at the University of Pia in Italy by Dr. Franco Massantini. It has been proven and refined for decades and is used by scientists around the world, including NASA. Successful research has and is being conducted at the following universities: Cornell, Rutgers, Arizona, Oxford, Texas A&M, and California at Davis.

With the advanced science of Aeroponics, plants:

  •  receive their required daily nutrients

  •  avoid contact with soil borne pests and fungus

  •  grow up to 50% faster

The science of Aeroponics will be the primary method of supplying scientists in space stations and visitors to Mars with fresh food. It is being considered for large scale farming operations in areas of weak or malnourished soil conditions. As our global population increases, the concern over water and soil quality continues to grow.  The opportunity to grow fresh fruits and vegetables outside of the soil, indoors or outdoors, is becoming not only a distinct advantage, but a necessity. While we have learned much about this exciting method of growing, the benefits of Aeroponics are still largely untapped. It is believed that Aeroponics will soon be the most commonly used growing technique worldwide.

Scientists, educators, researchers, nurseries, greenhouses, and home gardeners can receive amazing results from the enhanced growing, cultivating, and propagating techniques available through TAGS Aeroponics.

Now with the Thin Air Growing Systems (TAGS) the once large scale, exclusive science of Aeroponics is made available and affordable to everyone. Individual growers can grow fresh, healthy plants in the comfort of their own homes and yards. Nurseries can propagate seeds and cuttings into healthy, harvestable plants in a fraction of the time of traditional methods. Researchers and students can study plant growth in the convenience of the classroom and/or the confines of small laboratories. In terms of growing plants and healthy foods, TAGS Aeroponics is now available. Try our TAGS System for yourself.
